Pastors Tom and Bonnie have produced and aired television for the past 25 years. Their flagship program Celebrate Life has been airing since July 2005. They always knew that they had a story to tell and the medium they would use would be TV. During the construction of the Celebration Centre (1989-2003), home of Celebration Ministries International, planning for television production infrastructure was incorporated in the architectural plans.
The television department facilitates the recording of services and events for the ministry. Celebrate Life aired its first program on Loveworld Christian Network with the program ‘We Become What We Behold’. The Celebrate Life TV program has since gone from strength to strength being airing nationally on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC). In 2006, Celebrate Life began airing in Kenya, broadcasting on Citizen TV and later on the public station Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) in 2006. Last year, the program began airing on the God Channel launching it to a global audience. Celebrate Life has recently reached an extraordinary milestone by producing its 200th episode.
Celebrate Life also supports the vision and mission of Celebration Ministries International, by developing ministry products (mainly music and teaching DVDs), which are tools for reformation. The ministry has used the video medium to address issues and initiate positive social change. During the cholera epidemic in late 2008, Pastor Tom initiated a 6 part television program, called Celebration Health which brought hope, education and relief to the people, and nation of Zimbabwe. This program was the first of its kind during the crisis and coincided with Celebration Health’s massive intervention in the cholera crisis itself. Pastors Tom and Bonnie’s weekly television program- “Celebrate Life” airs in 214 nations impacting nations such as Ireland, Malaysia, Nigeria, and supplements teaching for over 70 Celebration Churches throughout the world.
