Celebration Pretoria’s Pastor John Tapera engaged

Shouts of joy could be heard all over the Celebration Centre when Pastor Tom asked Pastor John Tapera of the Pretoria Church to introduce his fiancée to the Borrowdale congregation on Sunday 4 April. Pastor John gave a brief account of how the relationship had developed while serving together in the church for four years and how they did not date until recently when he proposed courtship.

Pastor Tom took the opportunity to point out that Pastor John and Pastor Tommy Deuschle showed two very good examples of godly courtship and urged the rest of the singles to follow suit and avoid the worldly concepts of dating which often ended up as “Try before you buy!” Pastor Tom recommended group dating to the singles to start a long lasting relationship.
