Today's reformers, tomorrows leaders

MG8336aCelebration Learning Centre has progressed from being an ACE study group  and is now setting its sights to be recognized for its excellence and to bring international standards to Zimbabwe. The school held their fourth graduation ceremony last month.  Some of the highlights of this great occasion were Pastor Bonnie's singing and the excellent speech delivered by the student of the year Vuyelwa Chaza. A total of seven students graduated this year making the sum total of all CLC graduates to date 25! All seven 2009 graduates who include Benjamin Deuschle who was headboy of CLC in 2009 will be going to university in the United States and other parts of the world.

Celebration Learning Centreís graduates have set an impressive trend so far. Two of the most accomplished alumni so far are Andrew Irish now studying Political Science & Economics at the U.S. Naval Academy, and Thomas Patrick Deuschle III who graduated from Oral Roberts University May 2009 in Journalism and Business and is currently CEO of Bigger Africa (Linking People, Linking Dreams) as well as an ordained Pastor in Celebration Ministries. He is also an accomplished musician in his own right. Before graduation from CLC both Thomas Deuschle and Andrew Irish were 2 of 10 selected to represent Zimbabwe at the annual Global Young Leaders conference in Washington DC.
